A useful fit for

A fixed, professionally planned 240 V backup configuration that needs two Apex inverters in a Hub A1 parallel arrangement and the exact package’s two B300K batteries.

The main tradeoff

This equipment totals about 305.4 lb before cables and cartons. Hub A1 is not a station or a DIY panel interconnection; installation and parallel-mode requirements must be followed.

This is not a single carryable station. BLUETTI’s exact U.S. package combines two Apex 300 units, two B300K expansion batteries and one Hub A1 parallel box, with associated connection cables. Its intended benefit is a two-inverter backup arrangement: two Apex units connected through Hub A1 can provide a manufacturer-stated 7,680 W maximum AC output in parallel, and the two batteries bring the package’s component nameplate capacity to 11,059.2 Wh. The larger system is designed around a fixed installation and qualified setup, not a casual campsite.

What changes when two Apex units are joined

An individual Apex 300 is rated at 3,840 W and has a selectable 120/240 V output. The Hub A1 manual describes connecting one to three Apex 300 units using the proper P050A parallel cables; in a parallel arrangement, the system uses 240 V by default. Two units are therefore a different operating plan from a single Apex with an expansion battery. The Hub A1 provides system outlets, including L14-30R and 14-50R receptacles, and is the interface for the parallel system. The exact package image visibly depicts the two stations, two B300K batteries, Hub A1 and connection leads. These are manufacturer promotional renderings, not photographs of a physically assembled or tested system.

The arithmetic storage total is two Apex batteries at 2,764.8 Wh each plus two B300K modules at 2,764.8 Wh each: 11,059.2 Wh. The manufacturer describes two-Apex systems with far greater expansion ceilings, but this exact package contains only two B300K batteries. Do not infer more capacity from the system’s expansion maximum or count the optional batteries as already included. Similarly, 7,680 W is the published parallel output ceiling for the two-unit arrangement, not a measured delivery test or a guarantee that every appliance will start.

Who should consider this package

This package may suit an owner planning a substantial 240 V backup system with a suitable protected installation area, a professional installer where required, and equipment loads that fit the documented output arrangement. It is a poor fit for anyone who values one-person portability or simply wants more runtime from one station. Two Apex units weigh about 167.6 lb combined; two B300K modules add about 130.1 lb; Hub A1 adds around 7.7 lb. The main equipment therefore totals about 305.4 lb before cable and cartons. Plan access, support, airflow, spacing and serviceability before delivery.

Hub A1 is a distribution/parallel component, not an independent battery or power station. Its manual calls for a dry, ventilated installation and proper mounting. Working on home wiring or transfer equipment is not a casual extension-cord task. Follow current local code and manufacturer installation instructions and use a qualified professional for any fixed wiring; never backfeed a household receptacle. The supplied package list does not imply that every connection to a home panel or every accessory is included.

Questionnaire choices must reflect the paired system

A 240 V essential load is the most meaningful ordinary reason to consider this offer; a 120 V-only use case may not justify two units and the hub. A requirement for a TT-30 outlet should exclude this exact package because Hub A1’s documented system outlets are L14-30R and 14-50R, not TT-30. The system can meet an AC output ceiling up to the published 7,680 W limit only when the parallel arrangement is installed and operated as documented. The capacity question should use 11,059 Wh for the exact two-battery package, not the maximum possible expanded system. A total weight cap should account for all components, not only one Apex body.

Neither Apex unit supplies direct USB-C or car-style 12 V output in the reviewed configuration. Do not mark those needs as solved by Hub A1; the exact package should not be conflated with Hub D1. No solar panels are in the box, and two standalone Apex solar-input specifications do not establish a connected array or home solar design. Questions that require a supplied panel, built-in DC ports, a portable sub-100 lb system or a ready-to-plug household inlet should point elsewhere.

Alternatives and limitations

If you want a more portable single inverter with expandable storage, compare an Apex 300 + B300K or B500K package. They retain the single-unit 3,840 W rating but avoid the Hub A1 installation and paired-system complexity. For an even larger fixed backup, BLUETTI offers configurations with additional Apex units or batteries; those are separate exact packages and must not be inferred from this selected two-battery kit.

All capacity numbers are nameplate; delivered AC energy and system runtime were not independently measured. This equipment is for dry locations (Apex 300 and Hub A1 are IP20) and needs suitable ventilation and connections.
