Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does a historic 858 Wh RIVER 3 Plus + EB600 configuration fit a modest 120 V, 600 W plan?
The U.S. listing described this battery bundle at 858 Wh and 600 W; its separate product page no longer resolves and the record is not a current purchase recommendation.
Explore this need in the finder →Would a hard load above the station’s 600 W rated AC limit be a mismatch?
Yes. The EB600 adds stored energy but does not raise the RIVER 3 Plus station’s 600 W rated AC output.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need the documented 220 W maximum solar input, while leaving panel-in-box status open?
The U.S. station manual documents up to 220 W at its input; this historical bundle’s panel and cable contents are not confirmed.
Explore this need in the finder →What the historical Max Plus listing identifies
This is a model-identification assessment of a past EcoFlow U.S. offer, not a claim that the bundle is currently for sale. The manufacturer’s U.S. indexed listing described a RIVER 3 Max Plus as a RIVER 3 Plus station with an Extra Battery 600; another old U.S. listing used the “Max Plus Wireless” name and showed an 858 Wh, 600 W configuration. The original product page no longer opens, so the exact retail SKU, active offer status, full box list and whether that particular U.S. box also included EcoFlow’s detachable RAPID power bank are not confirmed. This review covers only the documented station-plus-EB600 configuration; it does not silently add an unverified accessory.
The known pieces are the U.S. RIVER 3 Plus station, model EF-RV-H02-1, with 286 Wh of nameplate capacity, and one RIVER 3 Plus Smart Extra Battery EB600, model EF-RV-E02-1, with 572 Wh. Together their stated capacities total 858 Wh. EcoFlow’s current U.S. RIVER 3 Plus materials support this one-battery arrangement. The bundle title is useful shorthand for that configuration, but it is not a recovered barcode, SKU or promise about a seller’s used box.
More stored energy, not a stronger inverter
For a U.S. buyer, the important planning distinction is 858 Wh nameplate energy against a 600 W rated, 120 V AC output. Adding the EB600 extends the amount of stored energy; it does not make the inverter a 1,200 W unit. EcoFlow’s X-Boost figure is a load-dependent feature rather than a replacement for the 600 W AC rating. Treat a device that requires more than 600 W of normal input as a poor fit, and check starting surges and any manufacturer restrictions even when a device’s label appears to fit. An X-Boost headline is not a reason to count a heater or other high-draw appliance as a dependable load.
The configuration is most plausible for a deliberately modest backup list: a router, a laptop and a few smaller devices, or a compact cooler whose running and startup demands have been checked. It is not a whole-home solution. The nominal 858 Wh is not the same as energy available at an AC socket after conversion losses, and no runtime is promised here: actual draw, cycling, temperature and charging behavior all matter. Add the watt-hours of the loads you truly need, preserve a margin, and confirm the station can supply each one at the same time.
Where it sits beside the other RIVER 3 Plus arrangements
The standalone RIVER 3 Plus is the smaller 286 Wh choice. EcoFlow’s RIVER 3 Max bundle pairs that station with one EB300 for 572 Wh. The Max Plus configuration described here instead pairs it with one EB600 for 858 Wh. Those are materially different capacity plans, even though the underlying station remains the same 600 W class. If you mainly need the added reserve, the EB600 arrangement is more useful than the smaller EB300 plan; if carrying weight and compact storage matter more, the bare station or smaller Max package is easier to justify. The manufacturer has not provided a confirmed total weight for the historic U.S. Max Plus offer, so do not estimate a complete carry weight from the station alone.
The expanded battery also does not raise the base station’s documented 220 W solar input ceiling. A suitable panel and cable still have to meet the station’s voltage and current limits; the panel is not established as part of this product option. A larger battery can take longer to replenish from the same modest solar input than the standalone unit. The U.S. manual does list a higher maximum AC charging input when an extra battery is attached, but charge time still depends on starting charge, temperature, settings and the actual adapter. Treat that as a charging limit, not a guaranteed refill time.
Questionnaire choices that change the answer
This arrangement makes sense only if 120 V AC, 600 W rated output and roughly 858 Wh of nameplate capacity fit the job. A hard 240 V requirement, a sustained load above 600 W, a need for more than one expansion battery, or a demand for a manufacturer-verified total package weight rules it out. Unknown box accessories should never satisfy an essential need: if a panel, RAPID power bank, exact cable, warranty term or current U.S. seller identity is necessary, verify that item in the seller’s exact model-specific package list before paying.
For an active buying shortlist, compare the separately documented RIVER 3 Plus and RIVER 3 Max offers, then confirm whether the EB600 is sold as an add-on or part of a real bundle. This historical Max Plus record is kept for people checking a label or an old listing; it is not presented as a currently verified U.S. purchase. If a seller uses “Max Plus Wireless,” ask for the exact model and full contents rather than assuming the RAPID accessory or the EB600 is included.

The historic U.S. listing was unavailable when checked; exact former SKU and box contents remain unknown.
