A useful fit for

['A buyer who needs the compatible 2,048 Wh expansion pack included at purchase.', 'Someone who prioritizes additional nameplate reserve over carrying a single lighter box.', 'A user whose essential AC loads remain within the station’s shared 1,800 W / 120 V inverter limit.']

The main tradeoff

The exact package combines 1,024 Wh station storage and one 2,048 Wh JBP-2000B, but no panel. The pack is about 32.63 lb and must be connected with both devices powered off.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Must a compatible expansion battery be in the selected package?

Yes: the JHP-1000B plus one JBP-2000B is SKU 60-102000-US00656.

Do you require the expansion pack and a SolarSaga panel in the same package?

This selected battery-only SKU includes one JBP-2000B but no SolarSaga panel; choose the separate pack-plus-two-panel offer if both are essential.

Does a 3,073 Wh minimum fit this one-pack package?

No. One station plus one 2,048 Wh pack gives 3,072 Wh nameplate, not 3,073 Wh.

SKU 60-102000-US00656 combines one HomePower 1000 Plus v2 station with one Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2. The station is JHP-1000B; the matching expansion pack is JBP-2000B. This exact option includes the AC charging cable, and the battery pack’s own box list includes an expansion cable. It is not a two-station system and does not supply a solar panel. The pictured package shows the station and one pack, accurately representing the selected offer, but the image remains a manufacturer rendering rather than a tested sample photograph.

More stored energy, unchanged AC output

The HomePower station has a 1,024 Wh battery. The Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 adds 2,048 Wh, making 3,072 Wh nameplate storage in this one-station plan. That is a substantial increase over the standalone 1,024 Wh configuration, but the AC inverter remains rated 1,800 W at 120 V with a 3,600 W peak. A battery expansion supplies more stored energy; it does not create more continuous output, a second inverter, or 240 V power.

Do not convert 3,072 Wh directly into an exact AC runtime. Battery-conversion losses, inverter load, ambient conditions, shutdown behavior, and appliance cycling all change delivered energy. Jackery’s published support table does not give an AC-usable-energy figure under a stated test load. Make a load list and use measured or appliance-specification wattage. Pay particular attention to motors, compressors, and heating elements that draw more than their steady-state label during startup or warm-up.

The station itself weighs 23.8 lb; the compatible pack is listed at approximately 32.63 lb. They are separate objects, but moving the combined setup means planning for roughly 56 lb of equipment before cables, and the total is not one convenient single carry. The pack is rated 2,048 Wh, 40 Ah at 51.2 V, and 6,000 cycles to at least 70%. That cycle figure is a manufacturer battery-life specification, not independent testing.

Connect carefully and leave room to ventilate

Jackery’s pack instructions say to power off both the station and the pack before joining them with the expansion cable; connecting while powered can prevent recognition and produce an FC code. Keep the manufacturer’s ventilation clearance around the linked devices instead of placing them tightly against curtains or walls. The pack is a compatible accessory for this station family, not a generic 48 V battery to substitute with another brand.

The system supports as many as five Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 units per station, a maximum nameplate combination of 11,264 Wh with the 1,024 Wh host. That is a supported later expansion ceiling, not the contents of SKU 60-102000-US00656. One pack is in this offer. If all five are part of a future plan, account for the separate purchase, floor space, charging setup, connection instructions, and much greater lifting load. The station’s 1,800 W output ceiling stays the same at each storage level.

Ports, solar, and UPS boundaries

The host station retains four 120 V AC outlets, one 12 V/10 A car outlet (120 W), an 18 W USB-A, and two USB-C ports rated 30 W and 140 W. Its two DC8020 solar inputs accept 16–60 V, 12 A per input and up to 21 A combined, limited to 400 W total. This package contains no panel or station-side solar lead, so solar input is a capability rather than day-one panel charging. The host can charge from AC while taking solar; vehicle charging cannot be paired with solar at the same time. Charging and discharging are specified from -10°C to 45°C, and water/dust protection is not supported.

Jackery specifies a 10 ms UPS transition. It is not a zero-millisecond bridge, and the manual warns against equipment requiring 0 ms. Bypass output falls to 12 A after three hours. A larger battery reserve does not change those switching limits. Choose this configuration when longer energy reserve matters more than carrying simplicity and you can still keep every load below 1,800 W. Choose the standalone station for a lighter, lower-capacity purchase; choose the panel-and-battery package only if a solar array should arrive in the same selected box. If your plan requires 240 V, a higher inverter rating, waterproofing, or continuous power with no transfer gap, look elsewhere.
