DELTA 3, DELTA 3 Plus and DELTA 3 Classic: the differences that matter
These three EcoFlow models look like variations on a single station because each US configuration lists a 1,024 Wh LFP battery and 1,800 W rated AC output. They are not interchangeable feature sets. The differences are the exact sort that change a shortlist: solar intake, USB-C power, 12 V DC output, expansion support, AC input and listed weight.
At a glance
- DELTA 3 (EF-DL-H10-3): 500 W solar through one input, two USB-C ports up to 100 W each, 12 V/126 W car-style output, compatible expansion up to 5 kWh and 1,500 W AC input. Listed weight about 12.5 kg (27.6 lb).
- DELTA 3 Plus (EF-DL-H10-4): two solar inputs, up to 500 W each/1,000 W total, two USB-C ports up to 140 W each, 12 V/126 W output, compatible expansion up to 5 kWh and 1,500 W AC input. Listed weight about 12.5 kg (27.6 lb).
- DELTA 3 Classic (EF-DL3-C): 500 W solar through one input, 100 W and 30 W USB-C ports, one 18 W USB-A port, no 12 V DC output and no battery expansion. It has a 1,400 W AC input and a listed mass of 12.1 kg with ±0.3 kg tolerance.
All three list six AC outlets, 3,600 W surge and 120 V US operation. A surge figure is not a continuous rating. EcoFlow's X-Boost claims are a separate mode with voltage-behavior and equipment restrictions; do not use them as a shortcut around an appliance's rated requirements.
Which distinction matters to your loads?
If solar recharge time is a real constraint and you can build a compliant two-input array, the Plus has the family’s highest published solar ceiling. If you need 140 W from a USB-C port, it is the only sibling with that listed maximum. If a vehicle-style 12 V output or expansion is essential but faster input is not, the regular DELTA 3 avoids paying for the Plus’s higher port ceilings while retaining those capabilities. If you want a single station without extra-battery plans, do not need a car-style output and prefer the lightest listed body, the Classic is the one to inspect. Its lower weight does not change its 1,024 Wh capacity.
For longer outages, all three have the same nameplate battery capacity, so the Plus's better solar intake may help recharge between loads but does not create extra stored energy by itself. For a higher continuous load or 240 V requirement, none of these models is a solution. Do not assume that connecting stations together or using an adapter creates a supported configuration.
One model name is not enough
The US model identifiers distinguish these assessments: EF-DL-H10-3, EF-DL-H10-4 and EF-DL3-C. Product pages may also display batteries, chargers or bundles. Confirm the exact SKU, included pieces, charger support and warranty before purchase. For the full limitations and operating guidance, open the DELTA 3 assessment, DELTA 3 Plus assessment and DELTA 3 Classic assessment.
Finally, 1,024 Wh is the pack nameplate capacity, not guaranteed AC energy available to appliances. EcoFlow's reviewed materials do not specify delivered AC energy for a stated load on these pages. Match voltage and continuous output first, then build a conservative runtime plan around actual loads and manufacturer guidance. The capacity guide explains why a simple watt-hour division is not an emergency promise.
